If Shane beats Floyd, where do you rank him all-time?

I mean seriously, even if you have Floyd in your top 30, which is pretty suspect, you don't automatically pass a guy just by beating him.

An argument could be made, if Shane wins, for 40-50, but it'd be shaky unless he wins the rematch.

Why in the **** is their a rematch in the clause if Floyd doesn't even have a belt? If Mosley does pull off a huge-upset in my books atleast I think he should duck a rematch. I know boxing is about money but its also bout legacy too, and if he gives Floyd the chance to redeem himself then people will forget about the first fight.

Floyd asking for a rematch and not getting it would only hurt his legacy. Forrest and Winky gave Shane a rematch, why shouldn't Shane give Floyd a rematch?

It's not going to matter, Floyds not losing unless Floyd has the flu fight night. So, its pretty ****** to think about a rematch. And did Shane have a belt when he got those rematches? If not maybe it was about the money between the two fighters since that was earlier in his career.

I agree with you on the rematch part. Floyd is gonna find himself in a real bind if he convincingly beats Mosley to a point where a rematch isn't warrented. There isn't anyone left for him to fight aside Pac, and if Pac doesn't accept Mayweather's OST demands I don't know what he'd do.
