Hopkins doesn't get enough credit for the Pavlik win.

Taylor certainly showed a lot more movement in the rematch and Pavlik showed a lot less. Not that he's Mayweather to begin with but he moves like he has lead feet above 160.

He fought him 10 Pounds above where Pavlik was suppose to be. That plays a role in the fight.

He did the same to Winky.
Winky started out at 154 though. That's the difference, but Hopkins was the underdog in both fights by the way. Mayweather was not.

If Martinez beats Pavlik this upcoming weekend that win on Bernard's resume is gonna become meaningless. Kessler is a meaningless win on Calzaghe's resume too unless he beats Froch. So no double standards should be used.

I think he just gets frustrated with the movement and is not sure what to do. I think if Martinez moves around a lot, Pavlik will freeze up next week like he has before. Thing is, Martinez has a bad tendency of staying in the pocket and trading big shot for big shot.

I'm so excited for that fight next week though man. It should be great.

Pavlik started out at 154 too. He was 147 in the amateurs.

Underdog or not. Anyone with a half of brain who seen the two styles involved and knew Pav wasnt in his best class knew Hops would make him look silly. I laughed at everyone saying Pavlik would stop him.

Im not going to call that a great win. Pavlik was out of his best class. I mean cmon bro Hopkins has talked about fighting Adamek at cruiser and Maskaev and Haye at Heavy weight. Hops is a big dude. It wasnt a fair fight.
