how about that blatant shot to the balls right in front of the referee immediatly following a break? thats not illegal? idiot, did you watch the fight?
But Hatton had already been on the floor due to Kostya Tszyu hitting low... So you can't punish one and not the other.
Are you the type that's unable to have a boxing discussion without throwing insults?... That was your 1st comment to me and you called me an idiot, what's wrong with some of you people?

Oh, Dan Sweeney's a regular charmer, Martin. Says he hates me and my posts... yet he still reads and replies to 'em all. Weird, eh?
Illegal move: obvious blatant punch to the balls. He would have been deducted a point anywhere else but jolly old England.
KT's supposed low blow wasn't ruled a low blow, it wasn't ruled a slip or a knock down, what the hell was it? It was a knock down, he hit him right on the belt. The ref was totally incompetent.
Leading with the head throughout the whole fight.
Locking up an opponents arm and punching behind the head.
What I'm trying to say is that he won't be able to fight the same way in the US. He will be warned by the ref to stop, if he continues he will be deducted a point.
Hatton doesn't have to worry being penalized in Britain for any dirty tactics in the ring, anything he has to do to win he can do without fear of being docked points and get away with it.
LOL!... That's the funniest **** I've heard on here in a while...
All I can say is.... "YOU WISH!"
Lol
see i knew itd come off the wrong way
im not sayin an american fighter as hes ours or whatever
but he is what he is cuzhe came to fight in the US
had he stayed in australia
he wouldnt be considered the best

So tell me Kenny Blankenship, If Hatton goes to the U.S. should he change his tactics and perhaps employ, say Bernards tactics instead?
To the first two repliers... please... if you're going to reply to a thread at least READ it first. I said that Ricky can come over to the US now he's established himself as a legitimate contender. WHERE did I say "he's going to carry on fighting in Manchester?" It's an open secret Ricky will be fighting in the US now, and I was legitimising why he hasn't PRIOR to this fight.
Abdiel... don't call me a joke. Watch the manners.

Yeah I know, fighting in the U.S. is a big thing (to people in the U.S.) but not so much to others around the World.
If Hatton can sell 45,000 seats in Manchester, he'd have a purse to entice any fighter to British shores.
They'll be A LOT more money generated there than 5,000 seats in a Las Vegas casino. You gotta go where the money is.
thats true too
but hattons still a *****
Lol
jk
or am i???????
Ricky Hattons trainer Billy Graham, speaking on Ricky Hatton said: "It don't matter if you come from Mexico City! The best body puncher in the business comes from Hyde".
