What I have to say has nothing to do with patriotism or love for America, im an american because i was born here, not because im proud, or that i give a **** about pride. I dont like fighters because of nationality, i like them because i ****in like them, but one thing is for sure, America is the center of the boxing world, accept it and be on with it. The only time i give a **** about patriotism is the world cup and the olympics, other than that, you wont see me sporting the goddamn flag, or any of that other **** you might think americans do because of what you get shown on the BBC.

Most major title fights that matter take place here, thats a ****in fact, and it will likely never change. Someone stated earlier that by fighting here, your fighting in neutral territory, thousands of english fans could pack an arena even with a famous american fighting in it. Just as mexican/Puerto Ricans do the same. If im from Oakland California, and i take a fight in Atlantic City, i have 0 homefield advantage. Thats the thing, were not a small island who needs to cling to 1 or 2 fighters that are actually worth a damn, the whole country doesnt support just a couple of above average fighters which is why were the center. For as many people who love Mayweather, there are just as many who cant stand him. How many people in the UK have that additude towards your 2 best fighters?

I reckon there's quite a lot of people over here that don't like Junior Witter... (But that's mainly because he's always slagging off Ricky Hatton, and people don't wanna hear that because we like Ricky Hatton).

Back to the post, Hatton has fought 34 of his 39 fights in front of his hometown crowds. Personally, enough is enough. Time to get some plane tickets and get his butt to Vegas. How much can this kid be spoiled? 34 of 39 in his own backyard? Thats insane!!

It wont happen because Warren saw that bringing Hamed out of England ended up costing him millions.. Hatton may not ever come to the USA to fight, he will be protected like Michlasewski was!!

Sadly, BABABOOEY agrees with you. But if he's the IBF champ, he really cant avoid fighting a big name in the near future. The real problem is HBO and Showtime. Hatton and Tszyu are Showtime guys. Cotto, Gatti and PBF are HBO guys. We'll probably see Hatton-Tszyu 2 before anything else.
