I don't agree Kev. Margarito at any point would grind Berto down to a stoppage.

Too much punch output, stamina, and strength for Berto. The only way he could win is if Margarito didn't fight out of clinches. Something I don't see happening with a 100% healthy Margarito.

Hey Kevin, I could be mistaken. If you are a true Yankee fan I take back the low blow. I still think Berto got some learning to do before he takes on the elite welters.

Plywood is stronger than actual wood though!

Anyhow I think it is possible for either fighter to win Berto can be hit so Margarito could possibly grind him down but I think Berto can give Margarito a lot of problem because he would muck it up when they got in close and on the outside his fast hands would give Margarito a lot of issues. Berto has a grappling backround so his holding on the inside is probably a ***** to deal plus I doubt he is not strong enough to hang he used to weigh alot more than 147 and came down.

I think these are good points, but it took a lot of hard, flush power punches from Mosley to knock Margarito out. I just don't see Berto hitting hard enough to finish him off, he'd have to go the distance.

I think Berto would do well, but there's a chance that he gets stopped late when Tony will be coming on very strongly and Berto will likely be feeling the pace. I can see a Berto decision win though.

With the way Quintana was working him on the inside? I doubt it. Berto doesn't hit that hard, he's just explosive. Kind of like a Zab Judah. He's also not good enough defensively.

A prime Cotto would have ran through Berto. Pac would really put a hurting on him. Mosley too. His speed and explosiveness is his only asset.

That ref was horrible. Berto bitched way too much. Quintana held a lot, Berto holds a lot too. That KD was also an easy call to me. He let Berto influence him.
