Lol, don't overrate a win vs a shot Botha, let's not forget that Ibragimov recently tooled a younger Evander.this was for that WBF trinket right?
i think holyfeild would put up a better fight with the k-brothers then their last opponents have, he would definately take the fight to them. How long he would last i dont know but i hope someone dethrones them soon, and i know its not gonna be david hayeComment

Saying Holyfield is that much worse than John Ruiz? Not really an impressive fight but it was nice to see Evander seal the deal, and to be honest he showed more vitality than i expected to see from him...fight was a HELL of a lot better than Hopkins-Jones and Evander is 47 ffs. still, anybody who puts him in the ring with Haye for example can be charged with accessory to murderComment

If a fat little blown up middleweight can knock out the Holyfield of five years ago or whatever, then Haye could brutally poleaxe him for the count. He doesn't have the reflexes and speed anymore to get out of the way of those right hands and has never had a good defense for that anyway.
He would eat right hand after right hand and it wouldn't take long for him to get badly hurt by them after a couple of rounds, if not knocked out by one he simply didn't see early on.
They should just take away his license. In fact, no fighter should ever be allowed to fight after forty five, no matter the circumstances. It's just pointless.Last edited by BennyST; 04-11-2010, 11:10 AM.Comment

i'd love to see holyfield as champ again, but for his sake i don't want him in the ring with haye and especially not the klitschkos. the man has too much fight in him for his own good. if there's just one heavyweight i could show my grandkids someday, it'd be him.Comment

Anyhow I agree with you in Holyfield's case, but what about someone that turns pro at 40 and hasn't taken any damage in the ring? Foreman made a good showing of himself against Briggs at almost 50.Comment
