The fight went about as i expected, with the "White Buffalo" coming into the ring looking more like the White Hippopotamus. He had a double bayfront stomach which must have weighed about 75 lbs all by itself.

He should never be allowed to get into a ring in that condition. And i don't know how he managed to go 7 rounds carrying that weight.

His performance reminded me very much of Roberto Duran's last fight at age 50against Hector Camacho. Very much the same moves, with right hands to the body as Holyfield came in. That said, he was timing Holyfield very nicely with right hands up and down, all the way to the finish, when Holyfield started landing more than a punch at a time and got him into a little trouble.

The ref stepped in just at the right time for a Senior Fight.

Holyfield looked totally shot for 5 rounds and then he seemed to get into his rhythm albeit against very winded and hittable opponent. He's very close to the end of his career...

he's still probably a top 25 heavyweight which speaks volumes about the lack of depth in the division.

Not really an impressive fight but it was nice to see Evander seal the deal, and to be honest he showed more vitality than i expected to see from him...fight was a HELL of a lot better than Hopkins-Jones and Evander is 47 ffs. still, anybody who puts him in the ring with Haye for example can be charged with accessory to murder

Now he will call out the champions. Sad.

He would probably give a tough fight to Haye. Even more sad.
Haha. The way you said it. Karma given.

Old shot Holyfield did much better against Valuev than Haye did.

Haye got destroyed in 5 rounds by old shot blown up super middleweight Carl Thompson. I wouldn't be surprised at all if grandpa Holyfield KOs Haye.

We need an over 40 division.

                      A senior's tour.

                      God bless the old warrior.

But he should fight other old warriors from now on.
