Miguel had a huge gash that took 28 stitches to close, he was fighting with one eye.

But how about your boy Williams he got a one sided schooling from a guy that Cotto destroyed in five rounds, now that says a lot.

I also agree with somebody who said Clottey is a gatekeeper between good and elite, Clottey could give the fits to any top welterweight but that's about it, the problem with Clottey is that he chokes up when he has to step up the gas, he's just to hesitant.

In the Cotto post fight interview Clottey was asked why he stopped throwing, he simply said he didn't want to get caught by a wild shot considering Cotto still carries a good punch even when tired.

Same thing happened in the Pacquaio fight but during the entire night, he just didn't want to get caught, he even partially admitted it by saying at least he went to distance, which IMO is a horrible remark.

do people forget the Clottey headbutted the hell out of him and he couldn't see?
if it wasn't for that big gash on his eyebrow he would've won more convincingly imo.

            Ohh, Burner's getting touchy.

Look f@ggot I don't care if you like Miguel or not. Miguel is the same guy he's just had a few setbacks. And while I would agree that Clottey was not a good performance, he had a lot going against him.

I don't think Cotto will be elite again, but I won't use the Clottey fight as a gauge for that opinion. It's the thrashing he took from Pac afterward that may have taken his heart.
