I don't see how anyone can hate the way Mayweather Jr fights ...

With most top fighters in todays sport of boxing thoroughly studying their opponents before they get in the ring with them ...

you got to commend the few who do it the hard way, which is training hard and figuring out their opponent in the ring - that's the sweet science man.

If you consider Mayweather Jr fights boring then you seriously need to get your eyes examined. Nuff said.

i agree but they are the same type of people like the blond who jsut wants to see all out war as if thats the only aspect of boxing. its not just punch punch punch punch.

the way floyd fights is 1000 times harder to perfect and fight compared to manny.
but im a big fan of the sport the science and box myself. so i study it. i enjoy all aspects of boxing except punch and hold. or running without throwing any punches. floyd ring generalship and controll and ability to adjust on the fly is crazy. and i love watching him defend then counter.

If floyd pressed the action a lot more in his fights the haters would be more impressed and i can see where they are coming from but i like the way floyd fights myself!!!

Im all about technique so i love watching guys with great skill sets!!!

the majority of fans didnt like winky wright. if pernell whitaker was fighting now majority of fans would say hes boring as well. but real fans and boxers and analyst respect them and enjoy watching them. if manny could get hit less believe me he would. but he has no choice but to be a volume puncher yeah its exciting and more exciting to those who dont know better. but i enjoy watching floyd fight as much as i enjoy watching manny or marquez or barerra or any style except bhopkins punch and hold use of head before throwing right hand lil dirty tactics i dont like but still respect it

With the new MMA/Toughman fans all they want to see is the fight finished in KO. Anybody who doesn't risk life and limb at all times to KO is a p*ssy. This is the new generation of boxing fan.

I see a constant war between the so called "*******s" and "*****s" on this forum. I happen to like both fighters because they are beautiful boxers in their own way. One is a fighter that brings great offense and unsual angles from which to punch from. The other is a very measured and reaction fighter. They fight according to their strengths.

Exactly, people hunger that type of entertainment, which really doesn't make them real fans of boxing.

A defensive style will always appeal to fans of technical boxing but not to the mainstream. Most casual fans want to see two guys slugging it out until one gets brutally KO'd.

Personally I think Mayweather is close to genius in the ring but I still rather watch an offensive fighter with great skills.

Those people are fans of fighting...fans of boxing appreciate what Floyd can do in the ring.
