I don`t know, but it would be better if Hopkins fought James Toney at MMA since Hopkins likes to hold alot.

bute has a massive following comapred to dawson. i met and sat next to his manager at the pac-hatton fight, cool guy. he took criticism well about the first bue-andrade fight. anyway, when we where there, although i didn't meet bute, he was getting hit up from every angle to take pics and sign autographs (bute).

i seriously doubt that if dawson went to canada, anyone would know who he was unless a diehard fight fan.

mind you, when me and my friends ran into butes manager again, out on the town, it was the same thing, and we weren't around any fight crowd. just sayin.

it's a good fight for hopkins, i think that with a guy like bute, who throws a lot fo punches, would make for an intersting fight, he's slick, but only been slick against guys that he was better than. hopkins is a whole other beast, even being 45 years old.

this is also a fight for hopkins to take a guy out of his game and a fight that hopkins makes a guy mis. and we all know, that when a guy misses alot the guy missing gets tired easily, and hopkins comes on late and strong. bute was prepared for andrade the second time, and was well conditioned, but the thing was, he wasn't in that grueling type of fight that he was in in their first fight.
i think hopkins makes it a grueling fight, and if bute isnt ready for what the old man brings, best believe that hopkins takes the fight, maybe even takes him out.

but it is no far stretch to say that bute can win the fight by decision, unless he ko's hopkins, but i seriously doubt that. hopkins seems like a man on fire right now, i don't think it's too wise for anyone to step into the ring with him any time soon, maybe wait for him to turn 57 after some of that fight and fire have simmered down.............

I think there is so little demand from the public to watch Bernard Hopkins fight that he should get peanuts regardless of who is opponent is. Hell, Pavlik brings a whole state of Ohio fans and Hops couldn't even break 200,000 PPV buys with him. Adamek and Bute all deserve the lion's share against him if Hopkins wants any of those guys. The Dawson-Hopkins fight should be close to 50-50 in Hopkins' favor since Dawson has no fan base at all like Hopkins now.

That's cause everyone knows if Bhop is involved its gonna be a boring ass fight..

Tarver, Winky, Calzaghe, Jones 1 and 2 etc..

Bute would beat Hopkins imo anyway but clear ducking as per usual by Bhop and bringing up people in weight .. sigh
