Seriously, he acts like Dawson can't make any money. There is a reason why HBO forks over millions for Dawson to fight(good or bad investment they still do). He may make a tad more against Bute because his live gate is strong but more people would watch Dawson/Hopkins on t.v.. It's not that big of a difference.

nah wasn't the offer from HBO that they would have to split $3 million? So hopkins would get 1.5 mil, after golden boy, trainers, etc he'd get a lil over $1 million at the most.

Honestly I don't get why people don't like this matchup. Like I said earlier today, Hopkins must fight the top guy or retire. Bute is 6ft2 and fought at 168 lbs the majority of his career. Hopkins is 6ft1 and fought at 160 lbs the majority of his career. There is no mismatch physically, and bute is one of the top guy at 168. If the fight is on both fighters will have my respect

bute also fought at 175 for a while too, they would be evenly sized.

have you been reading the thread? How would he be bigger than bute, who is 6'2 and fought at 175 for much of his career? Hopkins said he could get down to 170, so Bute would be "blown up" for adding 2 pounds in your opinion? come on!
