No its not always but in Tigers case the means justify the ends....Tiger dominates like no other person has ever in any sport, sp money in this case does point to being the bestComment

to be honest, the only reason boxing is not mainstream is not because of the media... its the people that makes a sport mainstream, that means that our top boxers controls on how the sport will flourish ... how did the other sports become mainstream anyway? the answer is people are interested to the person.....
But in this day and age, you have to have a decent job if you want to follow boxing.
$40 cable bill, plus $8 for showtime $8 for HBO, and $59.95 for every PPV event.
So its $56 a month just to keep up with boxing, and then if you want to see any of the sports top fighters face each other you have to spend an additional $59.95 to do it.
in the old days, as long as you had a tv and some rabbit ears, you could watch the best in the biz go at it.
I think the internet will help boxing a bit, cause people can youtube fights, stream fights, etc, so as long as you have a enough money for a decent computer and a highspeed internet connection you can watch whatever fights you want.
However with the internet you have to look for boxing, in the old 3 channel there was a 33% chance that if you were watching tv during a big boxing event, you saw it.Comment
