    You are a troll.

Second, Castillo wasn't a big name but hardcore fans knew Floyd was in for a tough fight when they first met. Just watch his two fights with the underrated Stevie Johnston (no one talks about him on here I see). Those were two excellent, premiere fighters showing off great skill. Then followed it up with a win over Bazan and then gave Floyd all he could handle in two fights. Soundly drubbed a prime Lazcano and don't forget that Casamayor (a prime Joel!) was one hell of a fighter too! None of these fighters are huge names but in their primes, they were ****in good. And Castillo has wins over them. Excellent in-fighter, solid jab, good power, steel chin, just an A-class fighter at 135 when he was at his peak.
I agree that Castillo in his prime was pretty damn good. An elite LW... I also agree that he was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than Hatton.

But, I also think Stevie Johnston won both fights against Castillo.

I think Johnston might've edged the second fight. Those two fights were really, really tough to score. Can't argue with anyone who had it going the other way. I REALLY wish Mayweather fought Johnston at 135.

I wish he would of fought him too instead of Sosa and Ndou. And, from everuthing I read Johnston really wanted that fight...

Do you have any insight on why Floyd didn't fight him?

None. I'd like to say he didn't want the fight. I really do. Because I can't figure out for the life of me why it didn't happen. Style-wise, Johnston would've been hell. And I'm sure after Castillo, Floyd was fully aware of this. Then again, it could've just been Arum being Arum. Johnston wasn't under his banner but Castillo was, which is probably the only reason that fight got made with Floyd. Who knows? But the one fighter from 130-135 that Floyd should've fought (who actually WANTED to fight Floyd too, unlike Casamayor and Freitas) was Lil' But Bad.

TS clearly refuses to take on board others opinions' also why bring up Hatton anyway? What does an argument between who is better out of those 2 matter in relation to Mayweather, especially if you believe Hatton may be better...Mayweather beat them both and even KO'd an undefeated Hatton.

What's done is done, Mayweather has only 1 even slightly contraversial/arguable victory in his whole career yet people seem to cling to this and the fact he has been hit by a couple of southpaws he dominated when it comes to detracting from his ability.
