Mercer if the time and place were diffrent would have been heavyweight champ of the UFC. Mercer is not of even 50% of what he once was. And he knocked out the former champ of the UFC.

A top boxer if he works on staying standing beats any UFC fighter. Its not going to happen though. Because there is more money in boxing.

Brock Lesner was into body building and pretend wrestling in tights for 10 years. Before becoming the champ. That would not happen in boxing. And NCAA National Champion is a far cry from an Olympic gold medalist.

Ugh no!!! Stand up in the UFC is a lot more than just boxing, it's Mu Thai, and kickboxing as well and once again your typical boxing stance will not work against any MMA fighter who simply attacks them with leg kicks. Don't get me wrong boxing is very good skill set to have but you almost have to unlearn all the basic fundamentals of boxing to compete with it in the UFC.


Watch as Ray Mercer gets out punched and submitted by Kimbo. Oh and by the way Tim Sylvia the former champ was a pro boxer before he went to MMA and he was run out of the UFC because he was a laughing stock and he had one title reign 5 years ago and he only defended the belt one ***ing time.
