    Don't be a hypocrite.

      I haven't got a clue what P.Williams ever says.

He reminds me of a black version of Boomhauer's from King of the Hill.

            Submission!!

So no a good boxer doesn't necessarily translate into success. Marcus has stated several times in various interviews I've read that the foot work and stance boxers use in the ring does not translate over to MMA because the staggered stance boxers use makes them easy to either be taken down or to be hurt by leg kicks. Boxers actually have to learn to square up which is something any good boxer would have trouble learning to do.

So please accept it, a good boxer doesnt translate to a good Mixed Martial Artist. Just like a good MMA fighter doesn't mean they could be a good boxer.
A good boxer that works on staying on his feet instead of the ground game. Can beat most guys in UFC. Ray Mercer ktfo Tim Silvia who was the Heavy weight champ not so long ago. The current Heavy weight champ was in the entertainment business for 10 years. And was never world class at wrestling to begin with. WWF wrestlers don't become the heavy weight champ in boxing. James Toney would even have a chance at knocking out Brock.

This talk about Pac v Pwill is ******, pac is 5'6 and Pwill is 6'2 thats a 8inch height advantage, aswell as reach lol.

He should stop kidding himself, squash the welter/middle weights and man up and fight in the Cruisers/Lightheavy's
What a ***** comment, too afraid? He's weightdrained at that weight, at least I think so, but if he ain't, then he's allowed to fight there? He's skinny compared to the other guys. Should Mosley and others be restricted from fighting at 147? No.

I kind of feel that way too, but not so much about his height but rather his weight. Paul Williams started fighting at like 154lbs and he later moved up and had quite a few fights at 160lbs. I think like his first 12 or 13 fights were either at 154lbs or 160lbs.

But I get where you are coming from, most fighters move up from or stay at their weight they started at but here you have Paul Williams moving down in weight. Granted, he is not the only one who has done this recently, Andre Berto used to fight at 154lbs and now he is at 147lbs. It could just mean they are in better shape or maybe they are looking for an advantage???

Ray Mercer also got dominated and submitted by Kimbo Slice a glorified street fighter.

He was the NCAA National Champion for *** sake!
