what got u into boxing

i think my cousins bought a bag and started going to the boxing gym. i wanted to do the same thing my reasons were mixed; partly to lose some weight, partly because boxing had always interested me and i was never much of a team player and after a while just grrew infatuated with the sport.

i think iv developed a massive respect for boxers their work ethic, discipline and refusal to hide behind excuses. the ring really does bear the truth.

Back in the late 80's/early 90's when I was just a kid, we had some world class middleweights here in England...like Herol Graham, Michael Watson, Nigel Benn and Chris Eubank. I saw a lot of them fight on terrestrial TV as they battled it out for the titles. That's what got me in to boxing.

Like most boxing fans I was always interested in the Ali and Tyson legends...

Then Frank Bruno and Lennox Lewis sparked further interest in the heavyweight division.

Gatti Ward 1. I watched it with my uncle and my step father among many other. My step father has been a die hard Ward fan his whole life, my uncle was a die hard Gatti fan. Just hearing them go back n forth got me into boxing. And the fight was pretty good too, haha
