I agree with you. Valuev tactics were basically asking for incrementally more money from Vitali until Klitschko said "F*** OFF". Valuev had no interest in fighting him.

But that tells us that Valuev seems content that he will get a crack at Haye for the WBA belt no matter what. Otherwise he would have taken the money offered by Vitali to get one last payday. Valuev/Done King seem 100% sure he will get another fight done with Haye.

The clue in the article is the word 'rumour' (or 'rumor' for the Americans), this is not newsworthy.

Oh, and Boxingking500 needs to get a life, 2 minutes it took you to comment on this story - are you always on here looking for the word Klitschko to appear?
Valuev is not mandatory. You mixed up things. Valuev has a rematch clause which has to be honored. It has nothing to do with mandatory status. Chagaev-Meehan winner will be Haye's mandatory.

I stand corrected, that's what I meant to say of course! You get the gist anyway.

That's because Haye signed a "slave contract" with Sauerland / King rather than one that would have given him, had he won, huge money-making matches against the two best heavyweights in the world. Instead he'd rather fight Valuev and Chagaev for comparative peanuts. "Slave contract" eh Davey boy? I don't think so.

But Lennox Lewis had the heart and courage to avenge those losses, and both by stoppage.

Wladimir let his big brother do the dirty work for himself (*****). No wonder, because Sanders ko Wlad 10 times out of 10 times.

These arguments are always happening here, does nothing change? I bet both fighters have forgotten and moved on whereas you guys haven't

I give you that on Lennox, who I always liked, actually.

Vitali did a nice job on Sanders: great barroom brawl. Sanders said he'd been hit by harder single shots, but never by that many hard shots accumulatively.

I think Wlad didn't take Sanders seriously and was on an admitted ego-trip when he got KO'd by him. Big mistake. He could try to avenge the loss, but is Sanders still active? Maybe he could be talked into it. He did avenge his loss to Lamon Brewster, at least what was left of Brewster after the Liakhovich fight.

The poor dude job is to be on BS 24/7, and suck on the Klits ****s as much as he can.

The sad thing is that he doesn't get paid for it. That's what we call a cheap whore.

People always attempt to try to imply that Wlad's career is worthless because as a younger fighter he got ****y and got caught by a wiley veteran. Personally I don't think it's disgraceful to get KO'd by Corrie Sanders (or by Rahman, or McCall). It's just worth recalling that other
great heavyweights suffered similar knockout losses. It happens in
                      heavyweight boxing.
