Hatton's team wasn't ready for Mayweather at 140, and after Mayweather fought De La Hoya at 154, there was no way he was going to drop 14 pounds for Hatton.

That's the only reason he never got that lineal title at 140. Tsyzu retired after Hatton. Hatton wanted no parts of him at 140.
