this sport of boxing is becoming a ****ing joke.
either all commissions in boxing legislate full Blood and Urine test. Or stay as they are and not let boxers negotiate their own demands of extra test.
I ain't mad at Floyd here can't blame the guy for being a opportunist. Mostly mad at many boxing commissions around the world that let this **** get out of hand.
Get your house in order for **** sake.
Boxing has different commissions all over. Texas didn't drug test for Pacquiao-Clottey, Nevada allows that numbing drug that Mayweather uses that other commissions don't, certain states allow certain things and others don't. Fights on Indian reservations tend to be lenient (but sometimes state commission members who work it will face consequences by the commission).
Then you get the big-name fighters who are able to demand certain things and get it, because of the leverage they have. And the higher ups in the commission are probably thinking about how much money the fight will generate, not how unfair it might be.Comment

We're talking about random drug testing for both fighters. While I agree with you, it doesn't make it right. And I would support what's right.Comment

Nevada has pretty strict drug testing as far as boxing goes, and I'll take the word of some people who have plenty of experience with the NSAC and drug testing.

they either need to say "the current testing is good enough and no fighter can request extra testing" or they need to say "we need random blood testing and will implement it as good as we can for all fights or certain fights."
boxing needs to get its **** together. don't know if it ever will.Comment

That's one of the problems with boxing. In other sports, you have a union, and a set of rules that you go by. Players are employees of the league.

**** can you imagine other golfers asking for Tiger to be blood tested. Other tennis player refusing to play Federer and wants more test on him before they serve. wtf.
this is boxing now and it's turning to ****.Last edited by Blubba; 04-06-2010, 04:36 PM.Comment
