here's what i got.
He was supposed to challenge Wladimir Klitschko on December, 13th 2008. On October 25, Povetkin withdrew from the fight against Klitschko due to an injury suffered. However, the IBF announced that Klitchko will still have to fight Povetkin until 13 September, 2009, an option that was not exercised.
wtf happens now?Last edited by Blubba; 04-06-2010, 05:01 PM.

i don't think anything can happen until we finally get a national/international sanctioning body.
i don't even know how we can implement random blood testing without one organized sanctioning body.
we'll see.
maybe get random blood testing only in certain states and only for big fights? that's possible.

Atleast one state in America should have a boxing commission that has Olympic testing. Then perhaps title fights will have to be held there. Then boxers like floyd can demand fights there, Pacquiao has a title, so he can't say no.

Just so everyone is made aware. The WADA drug testing demand has NOTHING to do with Mayweather or that entire situation. Long before Mayweather made a stink for random drug tests, some of the networks in Germany required fighters, who were being televised, to undergo random drug testing to ensure the athletes were clean. All of the Sauerland Event fighters, from Povetkin to Abraham, are bound to take these type of tests. It has nothing to do with Mayweather or anything else. The WADA testing for Povetkin has been there for a long time.

it won't work if not everyone adopts the same policy though.
