Maybe because Vitali is feeling old, I don't know. Why don't you ask him? Maybe because this opponent he is fighting comes to fight and doesn't just try to survive like his last opponent.

Vitali is always fighting the best, give him a ****ing break. Its not like he isn't an old man. He is old but talented and still better then the younger guys. Vitali just kicked Arreolas ass who was considered to be one of the better heavyweights before Vitali demolished him. And I doubt James Toney would make him all that much money, the only people who want to see that Toney fight are Toney fans.

And Toneys fans keep depleting anyways because Toneys best years was when he was fighting at super-middle weight anyways. I mean wheres all these Toney fans at anyways? I see some avatars of him but I don't see a huge amount of them on this website.

I give vitali credit for his activity level but unfortunately since there are. 3 champions with 4 belts.the klitschkos are good for boxing but they are the sole reason there is not one champion.as long vitali & haye have belts then the proper champion wlad doesn't get the recognition he deserves.he's the real champion.nothing wrong with vitali fighting still but since he won't fight his brother there are too many guys who get title shots.either old recycled guys or guys like sosnowski,kingpin,ruiz(living off yesteryears),chagaev,meehan.I can't believe those 2 are in line for a shot.the division is weak until there is one champion.no one has consolidated the titles for one day since lennox....

just because toney isn't on everyones avatar doesn't mean anything.I'd say most the people on here are younger than me & all seem to be klitschko nuthuggers.in my kirk time wlad lost to puritty,sanders,& brewster & even made excuses that brewster cheated...LOL! Oh & vitali quit vs Byrd...you see I remember that but it seems all the nuthuggers forget that but are quick to jump on everyone elses past.guys my age remember the klits caught in the #'s game back when the division had Tyson,Holyfield,& lennox.vitali is as old as ruiz,Rahman,tua,etc.he. Retired when all of them were still fighting.I think people are blinded & forget how insignificant they were.hbo & all the experts were on wlad as the next one but his losses to brewster & sanders will ALWAYS be in the longtime experts eyes.these guys were around in Ali era so they've seen it all...

Sosnowski is a bum. But there is no better opponent available. The only other option for Vitali not to fight at all and risk becoming rusty. This is a stay busy fight, nothing else.

Not handpicking. Picking among who is willing to fight him. Who else was willing to fight Vitali instead? I don't hear any public outcry from other boxers.

Where are Adamek, Haye, Povetkin, Solis? You don't hear them scream "Vitali, fight me instead of Sosnowski. I am ready to get in the ring with you asap".
