Vitali tried for Valuev first. Then, he tried for Solis who turned it down because HBO wouldn't show the fight.

All that were left 1) Povetkin 2) Don King fighters 3) Denis Boytsov 4) a few less proven fighters like Rossy, Pianeta and Sosnowski.

I don't know if he tried to get Boytsov or not, but I don't think Universum wants to ruin him by fighting Vitali at this point.

Atlas knows all that. He's just another pathetic Klitschko hater.

That is partly true, but only half the story. Solis initially agree to the Klitschko terms, but then it became apparent to Solis' US promoter Bob Arum that the fight against Vitali would collide with an already booked HBO fight card in the Yankee Stadium. Arum was on the record being quoted "therefore we were forced to decline the Vitali fight offer".

Therefore it would be fair to say the fight fell through because Solis (or his promoter) had to cancel the propose fight with Vitali, not because Vitali changed his mind.

Atlas is a joke..

Teddy Atlas should not be talking about the Klitschko's, at least there legit. This guy riding on the story about training Tyson (who really was trained only by D'amato and Rooney) and never trained a good fighter in his life. Look at his record of who he worked with Art Tucker, Tyrone Jackson, Kevin Moley, Chris Reid (rip), Donnie Poole, Donny LaLonde, a real HALL of Fame list.... Moorer was made by Emanuel Steward and oh, I forgot the great job he did with Mike Grant.

After a long layoff Vitali fights four top ten heavyweights while in the process of winning a title. And all this was within a fourteen month time period. And you all are going to ***** about him taking an easy fight? Hell, he can fight Tyson Fury for all I care he deserves and easy fight. And go figure Albert is ranked even higher on Boxrec then Haye's last opponent.

Its a stay busy fight nothing more and I don't think anyone is viewing this as a big deal or this guy as someone who could beat Vitali......I wish more fighters like Mosley for ex. would take stay busy fights in between the big ones rather than just sit around.
