I just find it odd when someone says something a bit negative about Filipinos, they get all riled up about it.

When Teri Hatcher said that line about Filipino doctors, they got all pissed about it. They didn't get pissed at the writer of the episode, they got pissed at Hatcher herself.

Remember when Alec Baldwin went on Letterman and said on a whim that he'd probably get a Filipino mail order bride? Senator Bong Revilla said that he wouldn't allow him in the country. Baldwin apologized and they still wouldn't accept his apology.

A decade ago actress Claire Danes said Manila, "smelled of ****roaches and **** were everywhere. It's a horrible place." The corrupt President, Joseph Estrada, demanded an apology and said she will not be allowed in the country. Well, Danes gave numerous apologies but the government didn't accept them because they felt it wasn't sincere. They never put the statement into context when Danes was just speaking about the place they were shooting in Manila, which was one of the poorest districts of the city.

I'm sorry but I find your posts very distasteful. You act like it's only Filipinos who act this way. This stuff happens with every race. You really come off like you hate your heritage. I'm not even full Filipino or raised in the culture but I think you should quit generalizing like all Filipinos are the same and all think alike.
