i am not from the uk, i am canadian and they are involved as well, and were all not gonna win. just making the point that america isn't amazing, and has lost wars to 3rd world countries. i actually like the us, but so many american are ignorant and think they are so amazing yet know very little history besides what the us has done.

let me ask you this. weren't the british using the same american weapons BEFORE the falklands?

the british army used belgian FN FAL , MAG 58 and Hi-Power small arms.

falklands was a challenge to british power. the british had to respond on it's own or lose face.

that's what they did. did america aid somewhat? yes a little.

don't make it seem like the u.k. couldn't have done it without the u.s.

the u.s. didn't deploy a single soldier , ship or plane in the falklands. they wouldn't even let the u.k. use american bases or let them use american tankers aircraft.
