im trying to give him the benefit of the doubt for acting.

god forbid he was trying to get an easy DQ win.

A DQ? Yeah that explains why he said he wanted to continue when the doctor was asking him if he could fight on.

You a little nervous Bernard is actually pursuing a fight with Haye? You should be man, lol. Bernard is crafty and that straight right hand will be landing on Haye, you can believe that. The only question is, can Haye take his punch? Can he get his offense going against the great tactician/spoiler? Dun dun duuuuuunnnnnnnnnnn!

Haye could win, but it's not a sure thing. I wouldn't count Bernard out (if the fight gets made).
C'mon really? this is a question after today when Haye was hit cleanly by Ruiz and withstood it and Hopkins couldn't stop a shot Roy who has been ko'd alot in recent years.

Well, yeah, it is whatever fight Dana feels like making (as opposed to boxing, where it's whatever fight Bob Arum feels like making or Golden Boy feel like making?), but UFC does a better job getting their top names in the cage to fight, and just because Couture/Coleman didn't have any direct implications on the LHW ranking (aside from Couture getting a second straight win in the division) doesn't change anything. Not every fight, in UFC or boxing, has to have significance for the title picture.

The fact is, saying that fights like 'this' make boxing more like the UFC is silly because boxing has been doing fights like this since before UFC existed, and there is no point in blaming Golden Boy because this has been going on since before they existed, too.

This fight would have ****** at any point. Their styles don't mesh, they are both counter punchers that feint and posture who try as much as possible not to get hit.
True, there is stylistic issues, but the anticpation and significance of the fight would have made it more exciting in and of itself. Plus, you add on the fact that both of them have more pep in their step and more sting in their punches, and you'd get a much better fight than tonight's.
