Wlad would have jabbed that old, shot man for 10 rounds, only starting to let right-hands go in round 10, to the soundtrack of polite indifferent applause from a German audience who are smiling impassively.

Whatever Wlad would have done, Ruiz wouldn't be able to land even 1 of the shots that Ruiz landed on Haye.

Moreover Wlad wouldn't rabbit punch Ruiz so often.

Having said that: Haye did some impressive moves there, but also offered again insight into his weaknesses.

You forgot to mention that Ruiz (aging) was 35-6 (heavyweight record at time of bout) and Chambers (young) was 35-1.

And Haye had a better performance against Ruiz than Wlad had against Chambers.

He didn't have a better performance. Wlad won every round dominantly. Haye got hit by some vicious shots.

If Wlad fights Haye like he fought Chambers then Wlad wins.
If Haye fights Wlad like he fought Ruiz then Haye will lose.

u guys keep jumping on the haye train. i dont hate the dude and im not a huge k bro fan but he showed nothing tonite that would make me think he could beat wlad or vitali. in my opinion and in those of most unbiased onlookers, the k bros would indeed give tht dude a pizza face.

Wlad's 5-6 inches bigger than his average opponent. His elusiveness is not down to defensive skill, it's down to sheer size advantages. If Ruiz was around the same height as Wlad, he would land shots like he did on Haye.

Wlad is very good, but let's not make the mistake of comparing his beat downs of small, slow, and out of shape heavyweights, as some kind offensive and defensive genius. Because it's not.

Haye is a threat to Wlad. At least more of a threat than Wlad's recent opposition. End of.
