That was actually a non-haye fan saying that thats how British fans react. Ever heard of sarcasm?Comment

The same reason why Ali gets more credit for going 40 rounds with Frazier than Foreman going 7.
Some delusionists prefer slugfests more than dominance.Comment

Haye is definitely the most exciting Heavyweight out there - he's fast and powerful, with real knockout power. His style is quite reckless too; he leaves his guard low so he's a bit vulnerable, which makes things exciting because we know he doesn't have the best chin so anything can happen when he's in the ring.
Wlad and Vitali are boring, all they do is jab. Their physical presence and jab will cause Haye problems but his speed and power will cause them problems too. If/when the Brothers fight Haye, they will realise how fast he is and it would be a matter of time before he lands a clean bomb, then we'll see how good the Klitschko family's chin is.
Oh and Haye would ruin Chambers, KO him in 6 rounds. I predicted a 9th round stoppage for Haye tonight, I'm very annoyed that I didn't bet on it!
The first knockdown he gave Ruiz tonight reminded me of the one-two combination Khan scored against Salita for the first KD in their fight.Comment

i'll give you a very simple answer to that question; because haye is an exciting fighter and wladimir is a boring fighter. wladimir is a superior fighter, and vitali is a far superior fighter to haye, but haye will always have more die-hard fans than either of those two for twos reasons: 1) the guy knows how to sell a fight, and 2) the guy will swing his fists. this is not the formula of the greatest heavyweight boxer on the planet, but it is the formula for a cult favourite.
im british, and for me haye is great, i love him. BUT he is a fundementally limited fighter who has a dodgy chin, questionable stamina, and has almost zero head movement. his minimal head movement is the reason that i have very little hope that he can beat a klitchko. ruiz landed a lot of jabs on haye's face tonight, and i can only imagine what wladimir and vitali's jabs might do to haye's face.
that said, i dont get the hate that a lot of people on this forum seem to show haye. he is exciting, has really quick hands, and has genuine power. not mike tyson power, but still good power. he can definitely catch vitali or wladimir cold and ko them... it is unlikely but it could happen.
so all the haters, please understand that this is a good guy for the heavyweight division, and if you hate him, ask yourself why? he is nowhere near the ******* that he makes himself out to be when he is building up a fight, he is just trying to get people interested in the fight. he is making the fight interesting, something the klitchkos on their own have never, ever, ever done because they are boring people. AND he makes his fights exciting 90% of the time, something the klitchkos never do.
let's all show love to the klitchkos as the greatest heavyweights of their generation, but let's also show love to fighters who want to make boxing a spectacle. the klitchkos are great fighters but boxing is never a spectacle when they are invloved. when either one fights haye, we will have a spectacle, a genuinely intriguing and exciting heavyweight boxing match. and that wont be because of the klitchkos, it will be because of david haye... even though he'll probably lose
