Explain to me what is so great about Dirrell.

I cannot stand Ward but think Dirrell is fantastic.
Many will say they fight somewhat similar, but Dirrell is unpredictable and can punch with bad intent. He is still very young and will only get better and more confident as he progresses. He did not look that good against froch but you have to remember is was his first big fight and in a hostile arena. He deserves a pass for that. The same thing happened with Pascal. I will also add that Froch is better than people give him credit for. He is a relentless fighter and can test the best of them.
Ward plays dirty, and is protected. Until he shows me something more, I just cannot get on his bandwagon. He might be the best of the lot, but that still does not make him appealing.Comment

It's amazing how far some of the idiots on here will go to discredit a fighter they don't like.
Dirrell put on probably the most impressive performance by an underdog all year long. He outboxed and outfought Abraham who cried like a 5 year old throughout the bout about getting hit with legal body blows.
The people who are Froch fans like this idiot threadstarter and the monumentally ******ed slimshandy are just trying to get their licks in now because they know if Dirrell ever gets another shot at Froch he is gonna turn his ugly ass pasty faced lights out.Comment

He is talented I won't lie I just don't see a finisher in him.Even in the AA fight were I felt he was dominating he did not look strong down the stretch. That's why I see him losing a few more time's.He better hope he does not have to ever fight Green I smell brutal knockout in that one.Great personality, and good person overrall. Thats not why he is great.
He is great because of his pure skill. Best in the division hand speed/defense. Can throw a punch at any angle. Very underated power(only guy ever to wobble, and KD Abraham in one fight), can throw mean combos. Stand right in front of you, and you cant hit him.
To top it all off, he is young, and only has 20 fights. He will continue to improve.Comment

Certainly no more than Abraham and his constant whining about body punches. And if Dirrell didn't look against Froch, Carl looked worse.I cannot stand Ward but think Dirrell is fantastic.

So you scored Froch-Dirrell 115-112 for Froch and you think Allen Green would knock out Andre Dirrell? He is talented I won't lie I just don't see a finisher in him.Even in the AA fight were I felt he was dominating he did not look strong down the stretch. That's why I see him losing a few more time's.He better hope he does not have to ever fight Green I smell brutal knockout in that one.
I'm just gonna put you on ignore right now and save myself from reading anymore idiotic bull****.Comment

Did you watch it on youtube or a repeat?
Froch was the aggressor but he didn;t hit enoguh ro more in each round.
Each round was slightly close at times, but Dirrel tagged him much more.
The shots on the back of Dirrell's head may count to you, then OK the stats show it;s closer, but Dirrell tagged him with ease.Comment
