Will the Haye-ters give him any credit for beating Ruiz?

I made a similar thread last year prior to the Valuev fight, which predictably (and disappointingly) didn't garner any response from the usual mindless drones on here. So now's your chance to redeem yourselves and prevent anyone from calling you out on your contradictory ways. You know who you are.

So anyway, let's go through the options. If Haye does any of the following...

    - Trounces Ruiz to a dominant UD, Jones-style
    - Stops Ruiz very early, Tua-style
    - Trounces Ruiz, then stops him in the middle rounds
    - Trounces Ruiz, then stops him late, Wlad-style

... will you give him credit?

OK, let's make it more interesting and specific, just to prevent blatant contradictions or twisting things to fit agendas - yes Tunney, that's you in a nut(hugging)shell. If any of these scenarios occur...

    - Haye really struggles for 4 rounds, then brutally stops Ruiz
    - Haye really struggles for 8 rounds, then brutally stops Ruiz
    - Haye really struggles for 12 rounds, then brutally stops Ruiz

    - Haye is in control but gunshy for 4 rounds, then brutally stops Ruiz
    - Haye is in control but gunshy for 8 rounds, then brutally stops Ruiz
    - Haye is in control but gunshy for 12 rounds, then brutally stops Ruiz

    - Haye dominates to a UD or stoppage, but suffers a single knockdown along the way
    - Haye dominates to a UD or stoppage, but suffers multiple knockdowns along the way
    - Haye struggles to a UD or stoppage, and suffers a single knockdown along the way
    - Haye struggles to a UD or stoppage, and suffers multiple knockdowns along the way
    - Haye and Ruiz engage in the ultimate HW war, Ibeabuchi-Tua style, with both suffering a knockdown(s), with Haye getting the brutal stoppage

... will you give Haye credit?

If he beats Ruiz in some sort of dominant fashion its something, and he deserves credit for it....but he is a **** tease and did lie to everyone still about the Wlad fight.

True, but the idea is to disregard that from this context. The Klitschko fights didn't happen (yet), and the Valuev fight is in the history books. This fight is now, and crucial to the bigger things the division needs.

If haters are going into this with the fixed mindset of dismissing anything he does to Ruiz en route to a potential victory, I want to hear it now rather than later when they've conveniently changed their minds.

Absolutely. Ruiz beat a legend in Evander Holyfield and when you beat a legend you become a legend.

if he wins in impressive fashion i'll give him some, but frankly i expect him to win in impressive fashion because ruiz is a career nearly man who's a long time past his sell by date.

if haye is as good as we think he is, he should get rid of ruiz fairly easily.

if he looks **** again then he'll drop in my estimations. looking **** against old valuev and old ruiz in a row is not something you want to see from the self proclaimed saviour of heavyweight boxing.

          will you give him credit?

If he KOs Ruiz in the first six rounds, I'll give him plenty of credit for the win. However, even in his prime, Ruiz wasn't that great. He's 38 now. I don't think a decision win would be too spectacular, or a late stoppage.

When was the last time Ruiz beat a top 50 Heavyweight?
Hes 3-3 in his last 6 fights and his three wins have come against Opponents with a combined 36 losses between them.

If he does a Monte Barrett on him and stops him in the fifth or sixth then sure I'll give him credit. If he stinks up the joint again and cons his way to a decision then he deserves all the clods of rotten faeces that are lobbed his way.

By the way, is any one who doesn't rabidly hang on Haye's every word a "Haye-ter" now? Good golly!

I will give him no credit for beating the terrible John Ruiz,Like I wont give Vitali any credit when he smashes the terrible Sosnowski.
If either look bad against these terrible fighters though they will be attacked and rightly so.
