why wont cotto rematch marg??? i remember an interview where cotto said he wouldnt give marg a rematch, but i dont remeber what his reasons were.

Cotto should want revenge but imho marg still beats cotto, by starting off early.

I bet they rematch at 154 once cotto beats foreman.

Cotto couldn't hurt Margs with anything he gave him. And he hit him a lot.

Now that fight doesn't matter, but Cotto had nothing to even back up Marg.

Because he believes fighting Margarito again is rewarding him for cheating, but maybe that just turns out to be a lot of nonesense if Margarito makes a statement in his comeback.

How would Hatton still be undefeated? Floyd KO'ed him almost a year before the Cotto-Margo fight.

If things were this way, Pacquiao probably would have cleared the LW division and would be making his way through the JWW division.

Where would Mosley be at this point? Would he have fought Cotto again? If he did he'd probably win, and then would that make him the new p4p king? And wouldn't Mayweather-Mosley be the most anticipated match at that point?

Hatton would still be Pacquiao's *****, but it would be more shocking and upset-like because Pac probably wouldn't be p4p king and nowhere near as popular.

And finally, would we see Pacquiao fight guys like Bradley, Witter, Valero, Holt, etc since he'd probably clear LW and JWW in this alternative universe? I think Pacquiao-Holt at 140 could be a good fight if both are at their best. Valero would get KO'ed easily, Witter would quit like he did against Alexander and the Bradley fight would be VERY interesting.

It also changed everything in that it pretty much ended both Cotto and Margarito's career's at the elite level.

Cotto would have KOd DLH, then probably rematched Mosley then Mayweather... as for Pac he would have probably fought JMM again then move up to beat Hatton and rule the JWW divison. Mayweather-Cotto still should happen at 154!

              WAR COTTO!!!

Like someone else said, it also pretty much finished off both Cotto and Margs, or at least signalled the downhill slide.

Cotto lost his unbeaten record, a lot of his confidence, and took some bad punishment.

And we all saw Margarito's chin was never the same.

No Margs got satisfied and went into the Mosley camp at 183 lbs.

The success killed Margs, not the fight with Cotto.

He got complacent and thought he was a rock star.
