David Haye is gonna whip Ruiz. Does any1 know if its gonna be televised in the states??? Id rather see Haye beat the crap outta Ruiz then see Roy & Bernard fight. Not really interested in that 1 & Haye is the future of the Heavyweight division.Comment

Haye is adamant on retiring in two years, so he's not much of a "future."
He'll never beat Wlad or Vitali anyway, even if he waits until Vitali is 40+.
He may not even beat Johnny Ruiz. Who's done more at HW? Ruiz or Haye?Comment

No I don't think so. Ruiz is American boxer. And any American boxing fan still would like to see any of the major Belts in the US. Even if the Champion that bring it will be hopeless John Ruiz.

I suppose you have the opinion polls to prove it? Or do you think you are the spokesman for most Americans? Judging by the Americans who post on here, with the exception of a couple of haters like you, most of them detest Ruiz, and hope Haye will beat him.Comment

Shown on delay I think: part of the Hopkins/Jones PPV.Comment

I don't have an opinion poll, but my guess is that just as when the mostly unpopular Valuev suddenly had a lot more fans when he fought Haye, the mostly unpopular Ruiz will have a lot more people than usual pulling for him when he also fights Haye. Haye has the effect of creating new fans for unpopular boxers. He should run a fan club for Ruiz and Valuev.
My sense is that Haye had more American support until he "bitched out" (to quote Wlad) of the two Klitschko fights. After that, many have written him off as just a big mouth, and if he doesn't totally spark Ruiz, he will be written off for good.Comment
