Comments Thread For: John Ruiz Targets Valuev Revenge By Beating David Haye

John Ruiz, a two time WBA heavyweight champion, goes for a third title this weekend when he faces David Haye in Manchester. Last year when Haye beat seven-foot Nikolai Valuev for the WBA title in Germany, Ruiz fought on the undercard and watched an amazing outcome. He saw a foreign fighter comes to Germany and win a decision over a star fighter in the country. [Click Here To Read More]

I love it how these guys just perpetually fight each other (Don King's guys that is). Hopefully Haye scores a brutal knockout in this one.

Of course John is small underdog against Hay (because of his 8 defeats and not young ages). But if Ruiz will beat Hay he will be the Hero of US for being the first American heavyweight which bringing the title belt "back to home" successfully.

I have a hunch that most American boxing fans probably want Ruiz to get knocked out. He's probably the least popular heavyweight 'champion' there ever was.

                    Double knockout please. Thank You...

If I had to go through another Ruiz-Valuev for a Heavyweight title, the world has lost all hope. Would love to see Haye get knocked out too but I'd rather him KO Ruiz and then get knocked out.
