He's been in the division for 5 years and only fought Baldomir.
And now a 38 year old Shane Mosley.
I'm still trying to figure out how he's in the current top 5 WW rankings?
It makes no sense at all.

True written like a true pugilist of the sport. Beating Baldomir, Judah, and Marquez lol doesn't mean anything for his reign as welterweight champion. Right now Pacquiao's resume at Welterweight is better b/c he's faced Clottey at 147. Beating a 147 Miguel Cotto would have done wonders but Cotto at 140 had no chin none at all and forcing the champion to drain himself takes away from the quality of the win.Originally posted by Konstantin View PostNo, he doesn't have the resume of a ODLH or Tito at WW. He still has time though.

There is a difference b/t being a p4p champ and a welterweight ALG. Hearns, Leonard, Trinidad. We are talking about Champions in a respective division that made title defenses against the best and their mandatory. Mayweather has not faced a mandatory nothing since 130. Mayweather is an legend in his own right b/c he faced the best with the exception of Kosta Tsysu at 140, but he was eager to hurry up and face Oscar for that money b/c lets face it Oscar was the Golden Goose.Originally posted by Cottoman View PostHe's absolutely a top WW of this era. No matter who he has ducked, I think it's impossible to argue he isn't great.
