His style is misleading because he looks slow when you first look at him, but hes actually an underrated boxer who can counter. Plus hes one of the best punchers in the tournament ( I'd rank him second behind Abraham as far as power).
good post, but I think he's over-reliant on his chin. It's tough but will weaken like all fighters.

He is underrated, I don't like the guy but he is undefeated and has beaten some pretty damn good fighters. I still don't think he has the skills to win the fights he has coming up.

The Kessler fight will prove if he is really underrated.

          I think so.

I think the main reason that people overrate him is because he doesn't have great skills and isn't particularly fast with his hands or his footwork.

But sometimes will>skill, and there plenty of examples of boxers who have won fights with strength, power, toughness and stamina.

Considering the fact that Kessler, Dirrell, Abraham and Green have all looked mentally weak/vulnerable at some point in the past, Froch's never-say-die attitude shouldn't be so undervalued.

You won't find Froch folding after losing the early rounds and getting hit, falling over and running away when under pressure, constantly crying about legal body punches, or staring at his shoes when he gets caught by a hard punch.

Pascal's weight struggle isn't well documented. I had never even heard of it until you brought it up.

Froch was being beaten by Taylor but only by a few rounds. Froch started to get into the fight around the 6th round. Plus he KO'd him anyway.

The Dirrell fight was a close fight. Neither fighter landed much, but Dirrell's constant running and complaining to the ref was a disgrace to modern boxing. No way was was it a gift.

Also, Dirrell went on to dominate and knock down Abraham, something nobody else had done before. Yet, Dirrell had no way near the same amount of success with Froch. That tells me Froch is a lot better than people give him credit for.
while i agree he's underated i think the mian difference in Dirrel having more success with AA than Froch was Dirrel and not the opponent. Dirrel learnt his lesson i think and appraoched this fight with a different mentality, he basically didnt try to land much on froch and concentrated most of his efferts on running in the opposite direction, he didnt have that much trouble connecting in the last couple of rounds against Froch when he stopped runnning. I only watched the fight live and havent been able to bring myself to watch that ****e again, so maybe im forgetting something in the earleir rounds.

Although, AA approach and Froch's approach probably affected Dirrel's fight plan, he wasnt afraid of throwing at AA cos he knew not much would be thrown back at him
