Well too bad for him. Povetkin needs to understand he isn't a prospect anymore. He's 30 years old and has been fighting professionally for five years now. That's more than enough time to hammer out any flaws you might be preceived to have. He and his team have been coming out with that lame 'he's not ready, he needs more time' crap for the last two years. But what have they actually been doing to get him ready? Since beating Chambers he's fought the murderer's row that is Taurus Sykes, Leo Nolan, Jason Estrada and Javier Mora. Chambers, on the other hand, has fought (and beaten) Samuel Peter and Alexander Dimitrenko and got in the ring with Wlad. Sure, people might say look where that's got him, but at least he made a concerted effort to fight the best, earn his shot and win. He just simply wasn't good enough. Povetkin, on the other hand, has more talent and strength than Eddie, but seems content to sit on his mandatory position whilst fighting utter bums and waiting for Wlad to retire. Well, time's up. He needs to either man up or fade away.
