I think it will improve him but that it will take time.
Nice post i agree,i think the biggest thing Teddy will do with his game is movement poping that jab throwing body shots, and getting inside and stayng there as long as possible.

Philippine style boxing lately has seemed to be emulating Pacquiao as many Filipino boxers fight in the southpaw stance (part of the reason is the belief that southpaws are harder to fight), offensive mindset. A lot of Filipino boxers train in the USA and might adopt USA style like Nonito Donaire (Fil-am).

Many cultures play to their strengths but not always with Filipinos since Basketball is the most popular sport (height). Filipino style boxing right now seems to rely on athleticism and punching power.

Id say Eastern Euro's try to be too technical at times, to me Eastern Euro's fighters are conventional Boxers but they lack the ability to go threw the gears and show fire in their belly, they seem all too content to Boxing sensibly, now whilst this is smart it does not work against more fluid American fighters as they have a more relaxed style with more head/upper-body movement and know how to use the angles.
Not necessarily true, that style is based on minimising risks, defence and not leaving any openings for your oponent to capitalise on, which is why it sometimes confuses the slick american fighters. head movement is virtually non existant but there defence covers it so they have no need for it and it is seen to be too risky, because eventually you will get caught

Floyd's last loss came from an eastern european named Serafim Todorov and at the end of the second round you can hear his corner say "theres something wrong with this guy"

i also love how the eastern european comes equipped with a full borat moustache

British fighters mentality is to be aggressive, a lot of the time with little regard for defense.

I genuinely think your bog-standard British professional boxer is even more aggressive than his Mexican counterpart.

Seriously, I was just trying to think of patient British counter-punchers of the last decade and I could only think of Johnny (boring as fook) Nelson and Eamon Magee.

I was reading an article in boxing news about a Cuban trainer who referred to most British amateurs as having a hooligan-style, lol. I think the emphasis at least from your average British boxing fan is: boxing as fighting, and not: boxing as boxing.

The ultimate symbol of a British boxing product is Ricky Hatton, it explains why he was so popular I reckon.

          Show heart, be aggressive.

You show those two to a British boxing public and you'll be admired.

Show lateral movement and exceptional head-movement and some will wonder why you aren't fighting.

            Its true.

Even the likes of Joe Calzaghe/ Khan are aggressive combination punchers by trade, Khan is fighting more patient since he got knocked out but he always was an aggressive combination puncher before, he is less aggressive now but still a combination puncher.

British Boxing is and always had been conducive to fighting more so than Boxing, from the referees like Dave Parris, to the size of the British rings, to the Psyche of the average British man, to the Psyche of the crowd.

German boxers or Boxers who live and train in germany are differnt. You have guys like Abraham, guys like Sturm, guys like Ottke, guys like Maske and they all have different styles. What they have in common, they prefer the peekaboo defence above upper body movement. They are verry straight up in their style and dont want to get hit so they fight patient.

Let’s look at Americans and Mexicans.
Mexican culture prides itself on honour, respect, courage and never taking a back foot step ever. Hence, why Mexicans boxers like to brawl and never take a back foot step and try their best never to quit. However, there are always outliers like JMM who rather box than brawl. If you get a average Mexican kid in the ring, and told him to box. He would steam in and try to brawl.

America is more of a self-centric society, every man for himself, especially within the AA community. Americans like to win in style and leave no stone unturned in shaming their opponent. In the American style they would rather clown and outbox and school a boxer for 12 rounds than brawl and win a quick KO. Get an average American kid in the ring and tell him to box. He would automatically be on the back foot trying to outbox his opponent

I cannot come up with an Idea why Europeans seem so one dimensional and robotic at times
Culture & America are two words that just dont go together.

Europe is a continent which is made of many different countries which speak different languages, eat different foods, live different lifestyles and follow different religions. Therefore the culture is completely different from country to country. This thread is just your wishful thinking - american's are seen around the world as cowards. AA's are being represented by the likes of mayweather and dirrell - come on these two are the biggest ******* out.

Every country follows a great boxer. Pacquiao is not the only one that brings fans and fighters.

Hence, why I didn't say anything about European culture since it has many nations and cultures
