A nations boxing style reflects its people culture

I always wondered why countries style varies.

Let’s look at Americans and Mexicans.
Mexican culture prides itself on honour, respect, courage and never taking a back foot step ever. Hence, why Mexicans boxers like to brawl and never take a back foot step and try their best never to quit. However, there are always outliers like JMM who rather box than brawl. If you get a average Mexican kid in the ring, and told him to box. He would steam in and try to brawl.

America is more of a self-centric society, every man for himself, especially within the AA community. Americans like to win in style and leave no stone unturned in shaming their opponent. In the American style they would rather clown and outbox and school a boxer for 12 rounds than brawl and win a quick KO. Get an average American kid in the ring and tell him to box. He would automatically be on the back foot trying to outbox his opponent

I cannot come up with an Idea why Europeans seem so one dimensional and robotic at times

I find the Rican boxing to be a mix between American and Mexican. They love to brawl and fight yet don't neglect the sweet science of the sport

like a heard in the maidana interview. they want big money fights because that style of fighter doesnt last very long in the sport. they just apeared on the scene and already think thier deserving psftt.nd dominicans tend to like the boxer american style because of the skin color im guessing..look at cayo and guzman.. the dominican style is a mixture of sweet science and aggression and heart. theyl box you but wont mind taking risks. ala guzman cayo and felix diaz. the most raw ones r fransisco lorenzo and agapito sanches rip. giovanni lorenzo boxes but brawls also. elio rojas boxes but brawls also

I guess it's kind of true. I feel many Mexicans fight for money and so they are hungry fighters who are looking for the win by whatever means. I feel American boxing is rooted more in the actual sport of boxing as opposed to being rooted in necessity. Therefore, this is reflected in the fact that many American boxers focus on the boxing aspect of the sport. Where one country's boxing says "hey I'll give you ten bucks to beat the **** out of this guy", the other's says "hey, let's get you to the olympics."
