The case was closed two years ago, and you don't know what happened mother****er. Nobody gives a **** who YOU like, lmao! Just stfu, and if there was anyone to question, question the clown who bumped this thread.
The Pacquiao and Margarito fans who were knocked out of boxing are trying to turn Broner into Floyd. They see the similarities in their styles and automatically assume that Broner is like Floyd-unbeatable. They dug up an article that is 2 years old without even finding out what really happened. Hilarious isn't it?
I've noticed the trends on this board as well.
Its really obvious when you see those posters can't even muster up a thread about a fighter they root for.
If you were only a fan of athletes that are choir boys you'd probably follow 5 athletes. Cut it out man.
No one is applauding him for the crime he did. Maybe people like his skills, the exciting stylke he fights with, the fact he comes to KO people, the fact he'd fight anyone.
Dude people have their reasons for liking Broner but you aren't too bright if you think this crime is one of them. You seem like you follow the sport pretty hard trust me you have favorites in whatever sport you follow that have done some things you wouldn't condone.
No one is saying athletes, boxers in particular, need to be "choirboys" in order for us to like them. And when did I imply, out of the realm of sarcasm, perhaps, that people like Broner because of this alleged crime?
I addressed the topic of athlete indiscretions in an earlier post. Essentially what I said was that I'm keenly aware that many athletes have a questionable past, but that the line has to be drawn somewhere. That line is obviously in a different place for everyone, but I know where mine lies.
The scant facts about Broner's case have already been discussed by myself and a few others much earlier in this thread. I know the charges were dropped. But that wasn't the point of my most recent posts, nor was it yours. You contend that what a fighter does outside the ring should be of no consequence to the fans. I say it should be. I already made it clear what my thoughts are on this matter. Some acts are so de****able that one cannot ignore them and simply appreciate the fighter for his "skills." I'll watch Broner in the future, only in the hopes that someone will kick his ass, which, admittedly, isn't likely to happen soon enough.
So you would rather hate a guy for an allegedly de****able act than appreaciate him for the skills you know he undoubtedly has? I don't like his ***** hair brushing in the ring or his ****y demeanor, but the kid is great to watch fight.
Personally as a boxing Fan... i wish that trash like him didnt rep the sport of Boxing. It gets enough black eye's as it is with corrupt commissions judges and promoters. Adding in people who have the mentality to brutally punch an old lady (being a Boxer) in the face and stealing her hard earned money is not good for Boxing. Or any sport for that matter. It wasn't like he stole a bag of chips because he was hungry. He punched a old woman...in her face. So it does have something to do with Boxing.
I think the bold is your real issue with Broner... I dont expect you to ever admit it though. We can all see the trends.
Anyway, everyone damning this kid over this are some ****ing idiots. Theres no proof, no evidence, no trial. NOTHING. People read others posts and run with it. I would like to see some facts to back up your claims that he definitely punched an old lady and robbed her.
If you wanna hate the dude then do so, do you really need some whack **** like this to justify it? All your motives are transparent as **** as it is. Just grow some balls and flat out say you dont like him. No need for bull**** slander pieces like this.
