AA himself, his team, and his fans will not give Dirrell his props. They are still in denial that he lost. They are acting like AA was about to win on the scorecards. People are more focused on accusing Dirrell of faking than him dominating 11 rounds.

Exactly. I gave him 9 out of the 10 rounds scored and it was not even a close fight. How everyone assumes AA would definitely KO Dirrell (never been stopped) in the rest of the 11th or in the 12th round is beyond me.

AA was the fortunate one because now he can claim that he could have still won the fight instead of losing by a ridiculously wide UD.

To be perfectly honest about it all is that I'm suprised at how many Abraham supporters there are on this forum. That genuinely shocks me.

Dirrell was getting hit more frequently as the fight progressed. I'll say there looked like there could have been a fairly high probability that AA would have ko'd Dirrell in the 12th given the way AA was getting through more often.

Of course Dirrell could also have avoided everything that AA would have thrown in the last rd too. Dirrell was getting tagged and stunned much more in the last couple rds as opposed to the first 5 or so.

I agree he was getting hit more compared to earlier in the fight but that was only in comparison because in the early going, he wasn't getting touched. Abraham had the one good round but was being avoided in the 11th prior to the DQ. I have no reason to believe Dirrell definitely gets stopped just because Abraham has a track record for coming on strong in the end of fights.

Just my opinion though. At least you are open to opinions I can tell.

If you watch ONLY the 10th and 11th rounds, it's a completely different fight. To say the tide was turning is an understatement. Gotta hand it to Dirrell for a great performance earlier on but I reckon he was getting KTFO in the 12th.

Everyone is putting waaaay too much stock in the Abraham late rally myth; that it was all part of the plan for him to get white-washed for 9 rounds straight. Abraham was certainly doing better in the 10th and 11th, but, think about if folks, could he have been doing any WORSE?!? Dirrell embarrassed AA so bad for the entire fight that any surge from Abraham was bound to be exaggerated by his fans. His 10th round knockdown was legitimate and definitely had Dirrell buzzed for a bit, but AA simply didn't have the ability to capitalize. It is just plain wishful thinking on the part of AA's fans that a late-round KO was somehow a forgone conclusion. AA fans, like Froch fans, simply will not accept the fact they their man is a heavy-handed, but otherwise utterly ordinary fighter.

I agree AA got whooped and Dirrell did a good job for the entire fight. AA was getting desperate and wild, this was the only reason he even landed anything at all, his normal strategy wasn't working.
