Yep. The fact is americans are alot more nationalistic than Europeans, an american would never ever root for a non-american fighter. While europeans are more laid back, we don't care so much about nationality, we just want to see good fights.

Once again this whole tournament was created for nationalistic reasons by the European promoters. They are calling this boxing's Ryder Cup. Don't blame the yanks for that.

There was provocation before any of the results even came in. During the build up of this fight many Europeans were talking about how inferior the American fighters were in this tournament while claiming easy victory and the down fall of American boxing. Payback can come quickly and swiftly.

Honestly, the frenzy you see when a "euro" fighter loses i dont think can be compared to when the americn loses, just my opinion, its crazy today and ive seen this before so i was kinda expecting it

Its bad on both sides trust me. There are alot more Americans on this site and with more people comes more nationalists. My point is the European media wanted to make this a continent vs a country but instead the outcome didn't suit them. I don't condone this and they shouldn't either.
