    AA didn't put him down.

Whats he supposed to do? Let him get up and reset himself?

    PROTECT YOURSELF AT ALL TIMES.
The ref was cleaning that same spot earlier. It was obviously a slippery place in the ring because that was Abraham's corner so water was getting spilled on that part of the ring.

You notice how its always some bull**** when Dirrell fights?

I hope AA retired him tonight. We don't need that **** in boxing.

        Oh well.

He still slipped on his own and failed to protect himself.

        Thats not AA's fault.

needs to be pointed out, that a fighter is protect himself at all times, just in case of a foul.......... you know, so they don't happen?????? dirrell did forget the cardinal rule, AA fouled no doubt, but the result from that punch was extreme, and i really hope that it was acting because, if dirrell has bleeding on the brain that would be terrible, so i hope not, but if that were to happen from a fight where dirrell was winning and took minimal punishment, maybe the medical examinations for fighters should be more strict? i think dirrell took bigger punches earlier in the fight, imo.

Would the d.q Dirrell if he had landed that punch and k.o'd Abe?

              Doubt it.

This punch was no different. He slipped and didn't tie up. AA did the right thing by decking him.

Kind of hard to "SLIP" - basically doing the splits - and still be able to "tie up" with both knees and one glove on the canvas and still protect yourself too. LMAO

I find it hard to believe that even the most die hard nut hugging Abe fan could think he was even in this fight - much less - try to justify the CHEAP SHOT thrown at the end. Surely O'Bannon you must be joking.

He didn't take a knee though. He just slippped and didn't protect himself.
Abraham was still getting countered on his way in. Dirrell is not Taylor, Dirrell would have been able to run for the last 2 rounds if he wanted.

AA got kept at a distance until he was able to buzz Dirrell. AA let Andre just win most of the 9-10 rounds and knock him down for the first time in his career because he let him get away wit it though. Right...

If Dirrell's deserved to lose for slipping, Abraham deserves to lose for complaining like a little ***** everytime he gets hit to the body. Nobody can hit the little ***** to the body in Germany because he whines to the ref.

I took sadistic pleasure in seeing him get reduced to a stuttering, blubbering, crying mess.

In a way, I almost don't care about the DQ since AA won anyway.

                    Dirrell is damaged goods.

Once AA decided to start fighting Dirrell could do nothing about it.

I expect to see this overturned anyway. It was a clear k.o victory.

He didn't fall on his own. Abe landed a jab that sent him down.
