Originally posted by East Side BoxingThe Ring magazine and linear World Lightweight Champion Joel Casamayor announced today he is willing to move up in weight and challenge The Ring’s world 140-pound champion Ricky Hatton as well as The Ring’s welterweight champion, Floyd Mayweather. “I have waited patiently for all these so-called lightweight ‘champions’ to fight me,” says Casamayor, who won the WBC title last October against the late Diego Corrales.
“I challenged Juan Diaz at the Freitas fight, but he is hiding behind his promoter’s skirt. I’m running out of patience waiting for this boy to grow into a man.
“Ricky Hatton says he wants big fights. I’ll give up the weight and fight him. Floyd Mayweather says he wants big fights. I’ll give up the weight and fight him – at any weight.”
Like Casamayor, Hatton (at 140 pounds) and Mayweather (at 147 pounds) are recognized as the true champions of their division, as recognized by Ring Magazine.
“I respect Hatton, I respect Mayweather,” says Casamayor. “I believe they are men, that they will fight. These other boys, these phony champions, they hide behind their managers and promoters and duck me. Since when does a true world champion have to chase his challengers? These other lightweights who have belts, they should be ashamed to call themselves champions.”
Casamayor is currently mandated to fight the winner of the Aug. 4 Erik Morales-David Diaz match. Casamayor says he will fight either man, but added there is no guarantee that the winner will simply duck him, as others have since his October win over Corrales.
“I will fight anyone,” emphasized Casamayor. “I gave up five pounds and beat Corrales. I’ll do the same with Hatton. I’ll give up any weight for Mayweather – let him name it. I am not going to go away. I’m a real fighter – a real champion – and I know someone will accept this challenge.”

But here's the interview, in 2007 where Casamayor called Floyd out YEARS too late. He also says that Floyd would never duck him, so nobody can say that he did back when they both fought at 135. It was actually the other way around.
I will also look for an interview where Floyd calls out Casamayor back when both fought at 135.

No one on this site think Floyd can be outboxed anyway. They always say he should fight pressure fighters. So he has fought SEVERAL of them.
Pac does NOT fight the style matchup that people think he loses.
Simple.
The second page, I won't even bother to go there.

Is not like he didn't have opportunity, is not like there were not top slick fighters in his weight-classes cuz they were, yet he avoided them and I wonder why?
