Personally I don't care the style of the fighter but the skill level, the ranking of the fighter. I feel you should fight the top fighters of the weight-classes you campaingning in.
But, to answer your question what slick fighters could Floyd fought. With Casa I was just proving a point. But, nobody counter attacked that Floyd and Casa could not have fought at the time cuz Floyd was HBO and Casa was Showtime. A lot of people forget the facts. I threw Casa name out there cuz I knew some people didn't really follow Floyd back then. I was one time a Floyd nuthugger. So I knew about this and Floyd never ducked Casa and there was no way they could of fought. Not Floyd or Casa fault.
However, at 135 there was Stevie Johnston and Paul Spadafora. They didn't have Showtime contract. And, they were ranked higher than Sosa and Ndou. Also Spadafora was undefeated title holder. And, both were calling Floyd out at the time. I don't know why those fights didn't happen in 2003. However, in 2004 Floyd did offer Spadafora a fight but Spaddy had problems with the law and couldn't get a license to fight. He never offered Johnston a fight though. And, I felt Johnston beat Castillo twice before Floyd did. I think Johnston beat him more decisevely also. But, anyways they should of fought in 2003. But, for some reason it never happened.

I will name you one when you name me one slick fighter that Floyd has fought. Because, it has been proven that Judah is not slick and that shot WW version of Mitchell is not slick either. So name me a slick fighter that Floyd has fought and I will name you one that Pac has fought.
Keep denying,
Judah is slick. Of course he gets hit since he always becomes careless. He is still slick. You are getting mixed up between Defensive and Slick. Roy Jones is a slick fighter but got tagged here and there.
Judah is the slickest fighter Floyd has fought. Prime Judah is one the quickest fighter of all time.
So this is what it really boils down to. Is not about the style but the race of the fighter. Just cuz your African American does not make you slick. You a Floyd fan/Pac hater like many others don't really care about the style you just care about the race. So all this is about race..
Pacman ducks Slick fighters but most of them were AA. Like Raheem,Campbell and now Floyd

Why can't he fight Marg or Valero? He already proved in the past that he can beat slick fighters something Floyd has never done. So Pac can fight whoever he wants. However, I would love for Floyd to fight a slick fighter just to see how he does. And, why he has been avoiding them so long.

If you keep on getting outpointed by slow moving plodders how the hell could you keep a straight face & say you are slick?
i could understand if he was getting outpointed by offensive powerhouses with unbelievable workrates & speed.
He got outpointed by david diaz, carlos baldomir, & joshua clottey.
DONT YOU HAVE TO DO SOMETHING TO BE CONSIDERED SLICK?
DONT YOU HAVE TO AVOID PUNCHES & ACTUALLY WIN FIGHTS?
So if i use grimey hip hop music in my ring entrance but can seem to avoid getting KNOCKED THE **** OUT by slow moving creatures i could still be considered slick?
Seriously are we being just a little bit ******ed here?

At the end of 2002/ beggining of 2003 Johnston was ranked #2 at 135 and Spadafoara at #3

So Spadafora and Johnston did not deserve a shot at Floyd in 2003 but Sosa and Ndou did? OK...Last edited by jrosales13; 03-27-2010, 01:27 AM.
