Also, why the hell does he allow himself to balloon up like that specially if he was trying to get his career back on track. So, I honestly believe there is no excuse.

Also, if you are really dedicated you can loose a lot of pounds in 5-7 wks. You can run for 2-3hrs twice a day if necessary. Let's be honest Dominicano and call it what it is.
I don't know man; I really don't. DLT made a good point in that Mosley at one time said he couldn't make 147 and is now comfortably fighting there. Whats the dude's name, dude in charge of Guzman's diet? I remember reading somewhere that he had to bounce and go work with some body builders. Before he left he had told Guzman to stick to the diet. This was a recent article here on Bozingscene; might have to look.

Damn man I was looking forward to Guzman coming in shape and outboxing funeka because I know he can. Seems he just doesnt have the dedication or heart anymore to make the limit. Funeka shouldve won the first fight hands down and Joan shouldnt have wasted his time with a second fight if he wasnt going to come in at the right weight. I knew he was gonna be overweight when I saw the pictures the other day he looked like Juan Urango lol oh well man Guzman cant handle people at 140. Bradley, Khan, Malignaggi,Maidana, Cayo, amd Alexander would give it to him good. Time to retire Sycuan Warrior you had all the skills in the world but they seem to be in the past now

That`s silly, he`s a professional fighter; he needs to begin training for a fight 3 months before the date, or move up.

Or don`t eat so much between fights, he`s only 5`7

**** Guzman.....I knew he was cheeks from the way he celebrated in the ring after they robbed Funeka in their last scrap!!......give my dude Funeka the strap and throw him in there with the madman Valero and get this division poppin' because there's some good fighters and good fights that can be made at 135...
