Damn.... I'm in Vegas to watch the fight. I can't believe he did this again. At least they're still fighting lol, or else I'd really be pissed. Now I can boo him I guess haha.

according to another thread the fight is still on. guzman just has to weight in under 150 on fight night! if thats true its some of the worst bull**** i ever heard.

in the words of larry merchant "he should be pistol whipped" for this crap.

Just a thought - if Guzman wins somehow, how can anyone give him full credit? I've never been a believer of the old saying "a win's a win", because a win can be hugely tainted in various sports. In Guzman's case, a win over Funeka shouldn't count for ****. If Funeka pulls it off, however, he should get double the credit!

what a ****ing waste man, so much god damn talent and he throws it all away.

I've supported Guzman through all the ups & downs but I wont support him again, that is just absurd and he should just retire.

nate campbell gets credit for beating funeka and he was over the weight limit.

obviously guzman's case would be different as he's had too much history of this ****

Guzman, who has a history of weight issues, is rumored to be at 144-pounds. If that is true, there is no way Guzman will be able to shed off that much weight. Guzman was unable to make weight for his lightweight title bout with Nate Campbell in September 2008. He was several pounds over, the fight was canceled and he served a minor suspension.
