WBA heavyweight champion David Haye is preparing for a very rough experience when he takes on former two-time champion John Ruiz on April 3 in Manchester. Haye beat seven-foot Nikolai Valuev to win the title last November. Ruiz is the mandatory Haye couldn't avoid and he knows the fight will be a lot harder than Valuev. He expects a very rough fight with Ruiz busting him up a little bit. [Click Here To Read More]

Ruiz is as tough as old boots. This could look like the Fragomeni fight except that Ruiz is far heavier handed and carries bigger KO threat than anybody Haye has been in with.WBA heavyweight champion David Haye is preparing for a very rough experience when he takes on former two-time champion John Ruiz on April 3 in Manchester. I know it's Ruiz, but I geniunely think this is going to be a good fight. Even if it is old-skool Ruiz who turns and sticks to David like a piece of ****. Nobody has done that Haye before. -

Nope, some of us are sill here out in the day light. And don't get us wrong or I should say that I want to see Haye fight the Klit brothers, what fan wouldn't? But, first he has to beat Ruiz and before Haye fights either of the brothers I would assume that because of the rematch clause and the fact that Don King will want to make as much money before they take a chance with either brother that Haye will have to fight Valuev again first. And considering the fact that other than having a very active mouth in reality Haye has not been a very active fighter. And therefore Vitali may be out of the picture by than considering the fact that he will 39 this July. And by the way didn't Haye already say all this and everything was already set up or am I mistaken?Last edited by Ravens Fan; 03-26-2010, 09:04 AM.Comment

Thank god indeed, I got the impression he was overlooking Ruiz too and I'm glad to see thats not the case.
There have obviously been difficulties wrt the breakdown of the fight with the K brothers and considering how long it takes to arrange fights of this magnitude it's probably not suprising he's not been particularly active.Nope, some of us are sill here out in the day light. I suppose the other thing is that david moved up from Cruiser to fight the best, from his point of view he probably thinks there no point arranging fights with bums, because it's common knowledge that the Heavyweight division is a joke. Even Hopkins thinks he can win at this level!Comment
