Hopkins has lost to most of the best fighters he has ever faced

It should never of gotten to the scorecards, Hopkins should of been DQed for his tactics in that fight imo.

You can go back to Duran, Leonard, Ali...these dudes were well past their prime at the ages of 35++, I'm sure you wouldn't hold them accountable for those loses would you? The fact that B-Hop is still elite at this age says alot.

Is he at this stage still? I can't really say based on how the Ornelas fight looked and if we are basing this greatness off of old Hopkins, that is what 5 or 6 fights against mostly smaller opponents and a couple fights where he lost.

I vacated those titles, I have some hate to let flow but I think am still being fair and when you look at B-hop many of the names look impressive but when you factor in issues like size against name opponents and the fact that he lost to most of the good opponents his size that he fought, his resume is not that great.
