  • Hopkins has lost to most of the best fighters he has ever faced

The best fighters Hopkins has ever faced are: Calzaghe, Taylor, Tarver, Jones
and he is 1-4 against them.

How can people on this forum rank him as high as ATG 50, with this record?

EDIT: Fighters who didnt have to move up 1-2 weight classes to fight Hopkins, Calzaghe was ready to make the jump to lhw so thats ok.

    Um wow.

He lost to Taylor twice. Then he lost to Calzaghe.

You are leaving out Trinidad, Winky, and Pavlik?

        Fixed it for you

Winky: Has achieved nothing at lhw, so beating him at that weight means what exactly? His prime division is also JMW

Trinidad: Is 3-2 at MW, with his losses being pretty one sided affairs, so history has shown he was not a great fighter at MW. His prime division is WW

Pavlik: Is a MW not a LHW, he has done nothing at LHW, so beating him at that weight means what exactly?
