WHAT!! Are you serious...Calzaghe??? Do me a favour, and besides he never lost that fight anyway imo, Calzaghe landed nothing all night and ended up looking like he'd been mugged in a side alley, not to mention his Dad pleading and begging with him in the corner at the end of the 11th that he needed a knock out.

And imo Hopkins won Taylor 2 anyway

I didn't say you CAN'T DO IT SUCCESFULLY.

        But it DOES effect you.

Go look at Floyd at 135 and compare him to 147.

Mayweather, hell no, Jones no, Morales is about equal. And yes Holyfield has the better resume.

Pavlik Beated JT who beated hopkins twice and B-hop was the first man to beat pavlik and tarver and johnson were the first guys to KO a weight drained jones jr where as bernard Beat Johnson by TKO and Tarver on UD and was also the first man to Knock Down Tarver..
He was bigger then Trinidad, DLH and Pavlik. The only guys he beat his own size were Tarver and Johnson, the other two guys(Roy Jones and Joe Calzaghe), he got beat.

and he is 1-4 against them.

How can people on this forum rank him as high as ATG 50, with this record?

EDIT: Who didnt have to move up 1-2 weight classes to fight Hopkins, Calzaghe was ready to make the jump to lhw so thats ok.
You act like those L's to Taylor and Calzaghe were blowouts. Anyone could make a solid case that Hopkins won those fights, so using them in your argument is pretty weak. What about his reign at middleweight? He was beating #1 contenders for years. Not just beating them, but ruining them.

Hopkins may have lost to calzaghe but it was a close fight and for the mans age he did very well imo, amazingly well really and he did gas badly in that fight, 10 years ago he would not have ran out of fuel so bad and the second half of the fight would have been a lot closer imo

                      Jones no?

Weird, on the show you rated them even.
