Trinidad and De La Hoya where not middleweights. As for Tarver, Pavlik and Johnson? What about em?

Hopkins was too inactive for the first 8 rounds of both fights, he should of listen to the HBO team after his first fight with Taylor who also had Taylor winning

TS I agree with you. Hopkins doesnt have that many great wins.

He gets praise for being old and still effective, but in reality he aint a top 50 ATG I agree

It's not about their skills... their speed slows down, their power isn't as effective against larger guys. Going up in weight is a lot harder to do.

Unless your name is Manny Pacquiao... going up in weight makes a difference.

          It's a historical fact.

He beat nobody of interest at his own weight for a really long time. Now he's fighting a second joke fight in a row and knowingly ducking Dawson.

history has shown that Tito and Oscar were not great MW, their prime division is WW. Johnson is a journeyman, Pavlik and Wright have achieved nothing at LHW

Pavlik Beated JT who beated hopkins twice and B-hop was the first man to beat pavlik and tarver and johnson were the first guys to KO a weight drained jones jr where as bernard Beat Johnson by TKO and Tarver on UD and was also the first man to Knock Down Tarver..
